Cox's Bazar
Endless sands of the world's longest natural beach
Cox's Bazar is Bangladesh's favourite holiday town, with an unbroken sandy beach running about 120 km south towards Teknaf. Along the Marine Drive lie forested hills, quieter beaches and fishing villages, while Ramu's Buddhist temples, Maheshkhali island and Saint Martin's coral island are all within reach.
