Land of Lalon's songs and Tagore's Shilaidaha

Kushtia is often called the cultural capital of Bangladesh. Baul followers gather at the shrine of Fakir Lalon Shah, Rabindranath Tagore wrote some of his finest work at the Shilaidaha estate house, and the novelist Mir Mosharraf Hossain was born nearby.
